THE SIGNIFICANCE OF EASTER 2
THE WORLD IS GONE AFTER HIM
The core mission of Jesus Christ on earth was to pay the price for the sin of mankind, destroy the works of the Devil and reconcile the world to God through Him.* (Romans 6:23; 1 John 3:8; 2 Corinthians 5:17-18). * This mission has always met with stiff resistance since the time of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Ignorantly, the Devil was using the Pharisees, the Sadducees and the Scribes to attempt to stop the fulfillment of prophecies not knowing that all their actions were lining up with prophecies. (Zechariah 9:9). Nothing about you takes your God by surprise. May God turn your trials into triumph in Jesus name.
Understand that the Jews were instrumental to Jesus’ accomplishment of His redemption purpose on earth. I speak to someone reading this right now: everyone working to stop you shall end up helping you to fulfill prophecies and destiny. From today, your enemies are commanded to work for the accomplishment of your purpose on earth. As the enemies of Jesus couldn’t stop Him, so shall they fail to stop you in Jesus name. Frustration has set in among your detractors. See how frustrated the Pharisees were concerning Jesus:
”The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.”
No one shall prevail against you in Jesus name. They are holding a meeting to review their successful failure to stop you. Jesus Christ was unstoppable. You are also unstoppable in Christ. While the Pharisees were working assiduously to stop the world from going after Jesus, they ended up conceding defeat. So shall it happen unto you if you carry the life of Jesus in you. This truth is beyond religion. Easter reminds us of the price Jesus paid for the world to go after Him. I graciously invite you to join the triumphant train of those who have gone after Him, if you have not done so yet. Don’t be left behind.
