The Eternity Strategy
John 3:15 -17
“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
We promised to look at 10 strategies or approaches to adopt in prosecuting the Master’s Mandate. We have looked at the love strategy, the personal testimony strategy, the deliverance and miracle strategy and the divine inheritance strategy. Others are the warmth and friendliness strategy, the diligence strategy and the discussion intervention strategy. We are looking at the eternity strategy today.
It is indisputable that there is a life after this present life. This present life is transient but the after life is eternal and everlasting. You either live with God in eternity or burn in hell with the devil in eternity. An effective painting of the reality picture of heaven and hell will wake up the eternity consciousnesses in some of our potential targets. There is a soul waiting for you to deploy this strategy today.
Sin is the visa to hell while righteousness is the visa to heaven. The wages of sin is eternal death but the wages of righteousness is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:22 -23
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
We understand from John 3:15 -17 that whosoever believes in the Almighty God will not perish, but have eternal life. The love of God for the sinful world moved Him to give his only begotten Son as a propitiation for our sins, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. We must also understand that God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
With this robust eternity plan for mankind to make heaven, no human has any excuse to make hell. There are two books in heaven where every human is recorded. Your name is either written in the book of life or in the books of death. (Revelation 20:12). The ones who will resurrect unto eternal life have their names in the book of life. If your name is not written in the book of life, you have no option but to end in the lake of fire.
* 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”*
Jesus underscored this reality in the teaching on the rich man and Lazarus. Heaven is real and hell is real. This message may just be the only message to bring your potential unto conviction. But always cap it with the love message. This generation has made the message of heaven and hell unpopular, but do not be scared to go this route when the Holy Ghost wants you to.
Friends, we must mortify our flesh and keep it holy lest, after we have preached others into heaven, we become a castaway. God forbid. May the Lord help us in this eternity race in Jesus mighty name.
